Giveaway #1: Emily's father was a successful architect who included Emily in how he did his work. Emily was a Daddy's girl and just as he was able to find the right balance and proportion to fit the needs of a building's inhabitants, Emily was able to use the same methodology to understand and "construct" successful social relationships between spaces (how and where we lived) that helped everyone live well (whether society or middle class) by understanding the purpose behind social customs and using that knowledge to build a social bridge between the classes.
