If you’re addressing an envelope to a couple, and their names don’t fit easily on one line, move down to the second line, and indent five spaces, then start with the word “and”.

The Recipe
We thought Emily’s Rice Pudding II sounded suitable for a warm spring dessert.
Rice Pudding II

Time: 50
Serves: 4
Ingredients
2 egg yolks
3 cups milk
1 tbs. cornstarch
½ cup sugar
1 cup hot boiled rice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. grated yellow part of lemon rind
Directions
In the top of a double boiler, blend the cornstarch into 3 tbs. of the milk, add the rest of the milk and stir. Beat the egg yolks and the sugar and stir this mixture into the milk. Set in simmering water and stir till hot.
Add the hot rice and cook, stirring almost constantly, till mixture begins to thicken. Remove from fire and stir in vanilla and grated rind.
Pour into a baking dish and bake in a 325° to 350° F. oven for ½ hour or until top is nicely browned.
